Having studied Economics at Delhi University, I was exposed to development theories and political economy which shaped my interest towards Policy and Governance. Post my Bachelors, I worked as a fellow with Teach for India to gain grassroot experience in the education sector and also studied sociology so that I could contextualize the problems I saw to existing theories and devise sustainable solutions for the same. At Leverage Education, I managed multiple teams and curated content relevant to higher education. Having worked in different roles in the education sector, my experience ranges from leading curriculum development and implementation in classrooms to working on skill development for professionals.

The desire to use my experience and drive change at scale while making impact at the grassroots prompted me to apply for the Aspirational Districts fellowship. I believe that India can truly transform through inclusive development of rural areas and through the fellowship I want to play a part in the same.
